Lighted compact mirrors to the rescue

As we women age (and, men, you might want to stop reading), we end up getting….how to put this delicately….um, we have hairs pop up where they shouldn’t be! Like say, on one’s chinny-chin-chin. Yep, there – I said it.

On any particular day, we’ll wake up and have sprouted black hairs out of our chin. Or, even worse, we’ll put on our best makeup, head out of the door and, once in the car, we’ll see a shiny white chin hair waving at us. Here I am!

Now, if you don’t have a lighted compact mirror handy, you might tweezer in vain trying to capture the sucker.

It’s the exact same for our elderly loved ones. Every elderly woman should be ready for an attack of chin hairs and carry a lighted compact mirror in their purse.

Lighted compact mirrors come in a few different styles. The best one to buy a senior loved one would probably have some magnification for up close and personal viewing. In fact, the compact mirror above there to the left comes with its own tweezers – now, that’s a great invention!

There’s even some lighted travel mirrors that are small enough to carry in one’s purse – a real help when putting on makeup in a hotel room with dim lighting.
