Day Clocks Are A Menopausal Woman’s Best Friend
Most women don’t know (or maybe I did but I’d forgotten….) that one symptom of peri-menopause can be short-term memory loss – I never knew what day it was. I’m pretty sure my doctor mentioned the memory loss could be a symptom, but, no kidding, I think I just plum forgot.
Anyway, when I had to ask my 12-year younger boyfriend what day of the week it was for the 3rd time in one day, I knew I needed to get some real help. And, I’m here to tell you that this day clock is my best friend and favorite bedside accessory at just 8.5″ long.
The Day Clox day clock there to the left has a beautiful crisp readout (good for aging eyes too – sigh) and has the day of the week, the date, and the time. How wonderful is that?
The Digital Calendar Day Clock also dims slightly at 7 pm in anticipation of the evening. In fact, when I was caring for my elderly Mom, I had this day clock in her bedroom and used the readout as another nightlight for her room. It worked perfectly! The side benefit was she knew what day of the week it was upon arising.
