Cooling Towels

If it weren’t for my cooling towel I purchased while visiting my brother in Tucson Arizona, I’d be dead.

Mike’s kind offer to come visit came with wheels – his Miata. So, as I tooled around Arizona in the broiling heat while suffering hot flashes, I was dying. I tried to put up the top of the car to no avail. A short phone call confirmed my dread – the car’s convertible top was busted. Great, just great. Here I was, menopausal, hot, and getting meaner by the minute…

So, I found these cooling towels at Bed, Bath & Beyond, for, by the way, significantly more than they cost on Amazon.com. Just wet one of these cooling towels, wrap it around her neck and she’ll have instant relief from hot flashes – I’m talking instant relief.

After awhile, as the towel temperature adapts to the outside temperature and it’s not cooling as well, just swing it around in the air a few times and reapply. Works great!
