Bad Hair Days Happen….

You know the drill; you wake up late for work, you look in the mirror and AAAK! What have you been doing all night? The previously bouncy curls from yesterday are plastered to your head, there are parts sticking up that definitely should not be there….Even the color appears off!

Yes, you’re off to a bad hair day.

So, what’s a girl to do? Well, I’ve got you covered. I’m the voice of experience speaking here so all of the items I’ve decided to show you on this article are tried and true. I’ve used every single one so you can take my word for it.

Dry Shampoos

You can start with brushing a dry shampoo through your hair. At the very least, a good dry shampoo will give you more volume.

These miracle hair preparations are the perfect remedy for bad hair days. Mostly. There’s some bad hair days that even these haven’t fixed for me. But, they’re certainly worth the try.

I particularly like the Batiste brand of dry shampoos as they come in colors. My hair is brown so, when spraying the Batista, it blends right in. No white powder to be seen!

Utilitarian Ponytail Holders

If you have mid length to long hair, a ponytail is the ‘go-to’ way to fix a bad hair day. I particularly love the invisibobble hair rings as they don’t damage or pull my hair at all. They are billed as not leaving a bump when removed and, mostly, they don’t – they’re certainly better than a rubber band. They’re soft and very wearable on my wrist – ready when I need it. And, with hot flashes, I need it….

Invisibobble hair ties will stretch out of shape after a few wearing but, hit them with a blow dryer on high and watch them shrink right back up. They’re soft and very wearable on my wrist – ready when I need it. And, with hot flashes, I need it….

Fancy Ponytail Holders

Those ponytail holders above are fine for everyday use but, when I want to fancy up my hair style, I pick one of these beautiful hair clips to hold my hair.

And, you know how you always have an extra elastic band on your wrist? Why not make it attractive and wear it as a ‘bracelet?’ That rhinestone one below works great in that capacity – I actually get compliments on my ‘bracelet.’
